United Nations Essay

During the ratification of the constitution, the power was split between state and central government avoiding conflict in the states. Many memorable people helped develop the bill of rights in order to lay out our God given rights in the constitution that many people were concerened about. This caused many states to vote for the new constitution.

America is the only country that I know of that follows the constitution in their government and respects it (mostly). We give each citizen the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We give each citizen fair trials and the right to an attorney if you cannot afford one. We are very humane to our citizens and we have more rights than most countries especially women!

Middle East countries have restricted many rights of their citizens by oppressing women and the lower community members. The men and higher "class" citizens get treated like royalty and have much control over the government. Polygamy is legal which is wrong and immoral, but their religion allows it. The federalist explains these rights to us as in the constitution to a happy life.

"If all men were angels, government would not be necessary." This is a very important quote, because its completely true. If all society lived with morals and respect for human life and well-being, a government would not be necessary, because our actions would be from the good of our heart. But because we are not all innocent, all are restricted to laws and limits.

  1. The statesmen will invent cheap lies, putting the blame upon the nation that is attacked, and every man will be glad of those conscience-soothing falsities, and will diligently study them, and refuse to examine any refutations of them; and thus he will by and by convince himself that the war is just, and will thank God for the better sleep he enjoys after this process of grotesque self-deception. - Mark Twain, “The Mysterious Stranger” (1910)
